Happy Anniversary General Hospital Canada

Everyone has a passion well GH is mine, so I ventured onto facebook in 2015 to create a GH group where people would be comfortable enough to share their opinions , be respected and have a group owner who does not use and abuse their moderators and admins .

 Dealing with people previously who do what I said above,  is a disheartening thing to deal with , the people I was dealing with were not understanding of my personal time , and expected me to be at their beck and call every minute of the day.

Being in a group should be fun , and not treated with disrespect, saying I was disgruntled was an understatement , I was disgusted and appalled that fellow gh fans would treat other fans and the gh stars in a  disrespectful manner.

So when I created General Hospital Canada I thought I'm going to be different , people can come to my group be treated the same way you would treat their own family members with love and respect  , we don't feel like just a bunch of fans we are a little family.

In our group we have a pile of fun in our live chats,  we can get a little rowdy at times , so come join the party.

People can enjoy fan made videos and posters , and a load of other things that we dream up, and we've seen some good times and bad times  shown on our screens and we share them together.

Being apart of  a community , means enjoying yourself, being able to be yourself  and not worry about who might take offence to what you have to say because those people  are like minded like you .

It means having a laugh , not worrying about fan wars , and certainly not bashing each other or the cast of the show that we celebrate on a weekly basis.

As the group leader , I feel blessed to know all of you  through facebook where we share our opinions on storylines, we may agree to disagree sometimes , but on the whole we respect and care about each other.

Being an admin means , being there for your members , showing them the same respect as you would expect others to give you. 

Respect isn't freely given , its earned , so I thank my members for the past 5 years of laugher, and thank god for General Hospital if it weren't for GH , we wouldn't have been brought together.

I am so grateful for all of you , with all of your funny comments, for your patience and understanding when I'm bouncing ideas off of you on a regular basis. I'm Maxie like when I'm firing on all Cylinders.

Oh yeah and when Im saying shocking off the cuff comments that breaks everyone up in fits of laughter. I just can't help myself sometimes , but that's the way it should be  lol, being able to be yourself , and not be afraid to say what you think without being offensive.

And most importantly Happy Anniversary  General Hospital Canada , may you have many more years of drama free business going on.

Flashback Fridays ... ah nothing like a good refresher course

Lately , I've  been reading the comments people are making in gh soap groups on social media,  all this moaning and bitching , about the current state of affairs of gh with flashback Fridays in effect is doing my head in.

I have been left confused , scratching my head going wtf I don't see the issue,  we're in the middle of a pandemic and people are complaining that no new episodes are being aired on Friday's. Talk about ungrateful and selfish.

Did people not stop and consider that,  maybe the people in charge are trying to stretch the episodes out so they last longer by showing the flashback episodes from years past.

It helps newer fans , to understand things about characters and storylines they may have missed , and for me personally I'm loving Fridays , an introduction from Laura Wright aka Carly , before the anniversary episode, . It was two weeks ago that we saw the rehashment of the treasure hunt.

Cast members reminisced about what brought their characters to as close as they are now , and for newer fans and characters to learn about their step grandparents .

Last week  it was the momma of the twins who play Wiley Eric and Theo Olsen,the boys didn't say much but they were adorable. It was the episode where Wiley was born .

Yesterday , now then lol, Maura west opened the show in character as Ava Jerome , martini in hand and playing solitaire. She explains that she wanted to show us the nightmare she had and said and "Remember everyone Ava J loves you!"

I found myself giggling when she said this , and said  out loud " We love you too Maura and Ava J!"

Instead of being ungrateful , people should be thankful,  we are still able to see the show, and wishing that a cast member in the shape of Chloe Lanier die from the virus is just a sick thing to want to wish on another human being  who only plays the part of a sociopath.

Think about it guys , our world is at a stand still and all people can think about is themselves , why don't you show some class, humility and appreciation for the actors and actresses and the folks who produce the show.

Be happy , you get to see our wonderful cast , who like us are self isolating at home with their families to stay safe.

But nope,  people are whining,  stomping their feet like children having a temper tantrum , because they don't get what they want.

It's not about you , it's not your call to make,  and it's definitely in poor taste to throw nasty shade at the fans who just want to enjoy the online official group in peace .

Keep your negativity to yourselves,  no one else wants to hear it , and to the trolls,  boredom has plagued your lives , we don't want you joining our groups trying to pick up women, or trying to get us to click on  links probably plagued with it's own virus .

How desperate are you,  you've crawled out of the wood work to cause us grief and all we want is to discuss our beloved soap! Let's be honest I have to say it  and no-one wants you here.

This is the hell we've been living in since the pandemic started , people who aren't gh fans using the official group to spout religious stuff at us and flooding the groups with non related Gh stuff.

To those people , please go find your own groups to spout that stuff, we are strong community,  a force to be reckoned with. 

You and this pandemic will not break us .... We are apart of the GH family we stand strong together,  if your on our side welcome to the family,  if you're not please get yourself a hobby far away from us.

Charlotte Cassadine - The very bad seed

They say little girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice , when it comes to Charlotte Cassadine she's made of venom and ice and definitely full of deceitfulness and spite. 

I'm sorry , but this child , is a nasty  hateful little brat, Scarlett Fernadez plays Charlotte so well we actually believe the kid is a nasty vile little bitch.

Charlotte started bullying Aiden a couple of years  back, but now has deliberately cut up a front cover of Crimson ,tripped Jax , leaving her back pack in his walking path causing him to fall, and now has planted a snake at Little Violets birthday party.

I find it disgusting that Valentin , has not recoginized that his daughter like Nelle has some deep disturbing emotional issues and she needs to be stopped before she really hurts someone. 

Poor Ava did not deserve  to be frightened like that finding a snake in her handbag.

Charlotte is 10 years old she should be worrying about playing jump rope and making friends not being cruel and nasty to other people who have done nothing to her.

She most definitely should not be fighting her dad's battles for him , he's a grown man he can deal with his enemies on his own.

Perhaps she needs a visit with step grandpa Kevin , I'm sure he'd do it free of charge,  something needs to be done about Charlotte,  she has been allowed to run around town wreaking havoc for far too long.

Boarding school would do her a world of good,  or have her privileges taken away from her.  Perhaps being severely punished would teach her to have some common decency and empathy towards others.

One child can not be allowed to continue like this Lulu and Valentin are blind to her evilness, they never follow through  with their punishments for her nor do they see through her fake smiles or apologies.

Do they not see the nasty looks she gives adults or other kids , who are happy , I think she's jealous that Aiden and Violet are loved , and not used as a way to get at their other parental unit.

Hell even Nina is blind to this kids faults , please let her spend time with Sonny and Carly,  they'd sort her ass out lol.

She would be grounded for life,  Lol!  I kid you not , I think that Charlotte lacks proper parents,  and She runs circles around those who love her. 

Here's hoping someone deals with her little bratty ass, before she hurts anyone and it winds up with them hospitalized or dead. 

Twisted Roots -

Good Morning me lovelies, first and foremost I have to say our show has been crazy the past few days with what you might be asking ,  I hope you're sitting comfortably because the shyte is about to get really real here.

First we saw Willow see Nina's Necklace and then like an implosion inside my head lol we saw Nelle and Carly  hashing it out about how Frank Benson really was.

All of this Nelle drama , I mean really she has my head spinning.

Not that I have any sympathy for the little sociopath, but its pretty clear that she has spilled some tea about what Frank told her about Carly. 

Frank Benson , was clearly an ignorant , disrespectful old man , he had no respect for kids judging by the way he treated Carly upon her arrival in the flashback.

Poor Nelle was not treated well either,  it's clear judging by the way she conducts her life  , she like Frank thinks the world owes her a living .

Growing up poor I guess had an adverse effect on her , but unlike her Carly set herself a goal lol, she wanted to be rich , have a huge house lol, and I'll be damned she made it happen.

As for Nelle she said that Michael was Carly's meal ticket,  and Wiley is here,  really bitch m at least Carly loves her kids , you don't huge difference. 

Carly fights for her kids,  while you just continue to use him as a pawn in some sick game . You lied about something Carly didn't do , and stalked a grieving mother,  you are not even half the woman ,  or mother she is.

Until then you sociopath shut your damn mouth!

James Patrick Stuart played Frank in the flashback , meanwhile Cynthia Wattros played Virgina in the flashback , it's clear Virginia had no control over Carly,  lol, but then no one can handle her in present times either. 

As far as Nelle goes Who knows what the truth is but all I know is , Nelle's got some pretty deep issues that need sorting out immediately.

Our girl did not believe a word she said,  but told her Frank lied to her, Nelle tried to play to Carly's sensitive side , but Carly did not fall for her act .

The problem is Nelle as a young kid was hoping Carly would return and rescue her , really delusional much they weren't even officially introduced. 

People are speculating that Willow and Nelle are possibly fraternal twins , umm oh god no I hope not , I'm on tenderhooks , waiting and seeing what will happen when the truth comes out .

At the end of the episode we saw Nelle with the broken heart necklace.

When this story starts to unfold , I'm sure we will all faint of shock lol, but for now it's just a wait and see thing .

But what ever next is going to happen god only knows .

Hater's be damned I'm a Carly Fan .....

Recently a non Carly fan , asked me why I love my girl Carly so much,  I can't sum it all up in one paragraph or sentence. So buckle up me lovelies it's gonna be one hell of a bumpy exciting ride into the world of Mrs Carly Corinthos.

For you newer GH fans , Carly has been played by three power house actresses in the shape of Sarah Joy Brown who played the part from 1996 - 2001 , Tamara Braun from 2001- 2005 and Laura Wright from  2005 - present.

So on record just so we're clear , in April 5th  1996 , a blond, vivacious chick with a massive chip on her shoulder arrived in Port Charles , I knew from the get go that Carly Benson was a force to be reckoned with and I loved her from the very first moment I saw her on screen. 

She is someone who had a rough childhood, her Adopted father , left her and her adopted mother when she was three , and when she found Bobbie ( her birth mom) she had a very nasty axe to grind without knowing the full facts of a situation. She guarded her heart and wasn't about to let anyone hurt her, she was gonna strike before they even had the chance to .

That was her soul purpose of coming to Port Charles to get back at her real mother, without even letting her know who she really was, I can hear the Nelle fans going see same difference.

Uh Uh , you know what I don't effing think so , you see  Nelle wasn't Carly's daughter, hell she's nothing to her but a ginormous pain in the backside , who thinks its funny and cute to even think that throwing someone else's past in their face is a good thing to do.

Scoff all you  want,  I'm not delusional like the rest of you , at least I admit ,Carly,  has done some pretty shytie things in the past  . Sleeping with Tony, drugging AJ, but as the years have gone by she has regretted every action she took.

Ok so maybe she doesn't regret what she did to AJ but even I think he had it coming after the crazy  shyte he pulled in the past himself.

But at least she apologized to her mother Bobbie , for all that she said and done to her, and you know what  Bobbie and she have moved past that.

In 1997  Carly gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, named Michael , who had heart problems, and he was operated on right  away.

Carly suffered from  post partum depression, and when Tony  kidnapped Michael , Carly completely lost it in court and stole Taggert's gun , and shot him in a court of law.

In 1999 this Carly fan was giggling with glee when Carly and Sonny met for the first time ,  I was already a Sonny fan , so this pairing just made sense. Both headstrong , take no prisoners type of  people. Over the years they've had more  make ups and break ups lol than you can shake a stick at.

Their volatile relationship is what made me a huge fan of the pairing , it may sound a little crazy to you guys , but for me , they've been the source of amusement for me , and its made Carly more like able when dealing with Good Ole Sonny.



Carly has been pushed downstairs, locked in a panic room,  she was  accidently shot in the head by Sonny  in 2004 while giving birth to Morgan.

In 2005 my girl suffered a huge blow when  Michael and Morgan along with  Kristina were kidnapped by Faith Roscoe , who was working with  AJ.

If that wasn't enough to send our girl over the edge ,  AJ faked  Michael's death , then when he was returned AJ had brain washed him, it took some time and therapy to get over that mess I tell you .

Carly married  Lorenzo alcazar when she was divorced from Sonny  and was put in a  mental health facility after suffering a breakdown and upon  making an escape from Roselawn , she managed to get on the same train and that psycho Manny Ruiz, who almost raped her.

If that wasn't enough my girl also suffered tremendously when  Michael was shot in the head by Ian Devlin and wound up in a coma.  

In 2009  Carly  married Jax  and was  kidnapped by Claudia Zacchara , and gave birth in a cabin out in the woods , upon escaping the crazy bitches clutches. Michael arrived in the nick of time when a crazed Claudia attempted to leave with baby Joss and he killed her by wielding an axe handle at her knocking her to the ground and killing her instantly.

Joss had to have a kidney transplant upon Carly and Jax finding out she had kidney cancer , that transplant donor was thought to be Jake Webber but he turned up alive years later. The true donor was Nelle who showed up 7 years later and would cause drama for my girl.

If that wasn't enough to send a momma bear over the edge try having your son being convicted of murder and spending time in prison. It was justifiable homicide, I don't think he should have gone to prison neither did his mom.

In  2012 Connie  Falconeri wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed  when she made a joke about Jason being dead, " Stone Cold , is actually stone cold , you get it Carly!"  Carly freaking saw red and smacked the snarky bitchy look right off her face.


In 2013 Carly  had been held captive by Heather Webber, in 2015 , Carly was in shock when on her wedding day to Sonny, her 5th wedding day to  him ,  Sonny was shot by  Carlos Rivera's men while he was trying to rescue TJ.



 In 2016 Carly was devastated when  Morgan whose meds were switched with placebo's stole Julian Jerome's car that was rigged by a bomb set to explode ordered by Julian's sister Olivia and Morgan's body has never been found.

In 2017 my girl wrestled a gun off of  Olivia St John  when the bitch held her at gunpoint at  Morgan's grave.

 In 2018  Carly was held at gun point by Faison  , she was also stalked by Nelle , and people put the blame on her, if you ask me , they're the ones who are sick and twisted just like Nelle. Who probably thinks she deserves everything bad that's happened to her.

Nelle  in her sick mind though she could send  Carly back to  Ferncliff , she succeeded for like a nano second , but lol  the bitch didn't win that one . Carly was on to her sick twisted , obsessed game towards her.

Carly was left furious , and upset when Nelle tried to have Michael killed in a car crash and  Nelle had informed them that the baby had died.

In 2019,  Carly and Sonny  confronted Ava about Morgan and the crazy bitch  took offence to them talking to her about what she did to their son.  Ava threw an oil lamp at them causing a fire that burned her. Thankfully  Carly and Sonny were ok, however Ava suffered some burn scars on her body.

 Yet  again ,she didn't ask for what Ava did to her , nor did she ask to be groomed by Reese's father who convinced the young Carly that she wasn't doing anything wrong with sleeping with him. In the back of my mind , I did think, well, it would have been better karma for my girl if history had repeated itself , and  Nelle wasn't her adopted sister, but her own flesh and blood daughter.

But that never came to pass , also in 2019 Carly faced her biggest challenge yet, when she found out the baby she was about to give birth to was born with spina bifida. It was a difficult challenge for her to face , but ever the warrior our girl hung tough and she's facing it like a true champion.

Her baby made it safe into the world via C-section anywho, shortly after that  Carly got caught up in the shoot out at the warehouse and that's where we are at today .

She also was left in shock when  she found out that for a year and a half the little boy she thought was her nephew , was actually  Michael's son whom Nelle swapped with Willow's deceased child.


One thing I know for sure , my girl is  a freaking force of nature , you bad mouth those she loves , or you do something to them that sets her on a mission to get your ass beat or more to the point killed ,you  better believe it , when Joss told Nelle your messing with the wrong family bitch she wasn't kidding.
